What an incredible night of technological and creative wonder!

We saw a diverse collection of Animation, VFX, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality projects this year at AEAF Awards Night at Chauvel Cinema, Paddington. Full of ground-breaking effects, lovable characters and clever story telling - the 2019 finalists were all in a league of their own.

The categories ranged from VFX Feature Films that included winners from box-office hits such as Avengers, Alita, Godzilla -- to stunning Music Videos by MOD and compelling and quirky Student Animations by UTS Animal Logic Academy.

The VR category was brimming with amazing immersive experiences from Spinifex Group and Green Gravel. Traffik and Chaos Theory's VR finalist: Winter Wayfinder was up against fierce competition.

Melbourne activation Winter Wayfinder has won the Silver in the VR Experience category!

The experiential campaign attracted hundreds of Bourke Street shoppers to its immersive and complex array of Christmas-themed animation and visual effects. Together with Traffik, we created an award-winning memorable and captivating VR experience that spread Christmas cheer and spirit to all corners of Melbourne CBD.

Over the moon, the announcement had the Chaos Theory team cheering and applauding louder than any other group before and after us - safe to say, we were super excited to celebrate this great achievement.
