What will Chaos Theory be a part of this year?

We're thrilled to attend SXSW Sydney 2024, a melting pot of creativity, innovation, and culture. We will be part of the official games showcase and taking Crab God to an exciting new venue: the AWS for Games showcase at NSW House. Here's a sneak peek into what we’re gearing up for:

The Game: Crab God Takes Center Stage

We’re once again showcasing Crab God at the festival's Games Showcase. We’ve just launched many new features and game modes and can’t wait to show them off. Coming from our recent win at The AGDA’s, we’re excited for more people to fall in love with our adorable crablings.

NSW House: Tech Meets Creativity

We’re also honoured to be part of the NSW House Activation this year. As a studio, we’re always looking for ways to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the gaming space, and being a part of these industries and beyond showcases helps us with that. Being in the client service industry, we relish these opportunities to showcase our work beyond the typical games industry crowd.

A Seat at the Table: Panel Talk

We’re proud to announce that our Creative Director, Nico King, will participate in a panel during the festival. The panel will explore iconic games that have entertained and made the world better. Each speaker will discuss games they created or admire, explaining how they broke barriers, raised awareness, or sparked change. Hosted by Games for Change Asia-Pacific, this discussion will cover the design philosophies, challenges, and the impact of popular games and hidden gems.
